Tamara L. Mihail CPA is Back in the Office to Serve Clients

As you may already have heard, Governor Greg Abbott has called upon Texas businesses to act responsibly while re-engaging in the economy and, as of Monday, May 18, our CPA firm in Sugar Land, Texas is open again to serve our clients for their tax preparation and bookkeeping needs.

We apologize for any delays that COVID-19 may have caused in the completion of tax returns or other projects. We want all our customers to know that every precaution is still being taken to ensure your safety while you’re in the office. We have disposable three-ply face masks available as well as hand sanitizer, and our offices are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected daily and between client visits.

If you would like to schedule an appointment, just give us a call before coming into the office to give us plenty of time to clean and be ready for your arrival. And if you’re sick with a fever, fatigue, chills, or cough as detailed by the CDC, stay home and stay safe!

We’ve been receiving a lot of questions about how our clients should track expenses for the Payroll Protection Program (PPP), SBA loan, or stimulus payments. If you have any questions about any of these topics, please don’t hesitate to give us a call. And in the meantime, the attached spreadsheet is a template that should help you with tracking PPP expenses.

Finally, the filing deadline for 2019 returns is July 15. While there has been discussion about extending the deadline to the 15th of September or December, that has yet to be finalized. We will notify you as soon as new information is available via email, Facebook, or on our website. All of us at Tamara L.
